Our Mission
Traditionally the dance and performing arts world has been for families with financial means and lacked accessibility and representation of kids of color. We’ve created an initiative, Elevate Artists Program, where our aim is to help break down barriers to dance and open up opportunities to more kids and adults in our community.
Every season we plan to introduce dance as another outlet for up to 100 kids in our local community by providing dance scholarships. We hope to play a part in eliminating the financial divide for those dancers and their families in both the competition, concert and studio opportunities. Our staff have developed and will continue to mentor dancers for their next steps in dance either in higher education and in the entertainment industry.
