Auditions for “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet” will be held at EDC on Tuesday, September 15th. Dancers who are cast will begin learning choreography right after the auditions and should be prepared to stay.
WHO CAN AUDITION: Dancers of all levels ages 6-18
COSTS
Audition Fee (online enrollment) w/ Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet: $55
Performance Fee (those who are cast in the ballet): $170 per dancer (rehearsal space, instructor and performance management, etc. )
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR - Dancers should bring water and wear ballet attire:
Girls: Pink Tights, Black Leotard, ballet slippers, and hair in a neat bun
Boys: Black Dance Tights or Pants, White fitted t-shirt, ballet slippers, hair slicked back away from face
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER AUDITIONS - Some cast dancers/roles will begin learning their choreography after auditions and the following day, Wednesday, September 16th 7-9pm. Please keep those days available.
WEEKLY REHEARSALS - Rehearsals will be scheduled Sundays every week till performance on November 8th. (More information will be announced after the audition)
