EDC End of Year Showcase 2024

Please join Elevate Dance Company's Annual 2024 Showcase titled, Y2K Replay Evolution. Our dancers have trained all year to bring an entertaining performance that reimagines the 2000's dance genres and our ever-evolving Elevate styles. Tickets are available at the Stockton Arena Box office (M, W, & Th from 11am-2pm) or, through Ticketmaster (additional fees apply). Dancers and Families please be sure to check out our “Showcase 2024” page on our website for details.

Guests are encouraged to wear 2000's inspired outfits.

Interested in joining our EDC Competitive Dance Teams for the 2024-25 Season?

Dancers ages 6-17 are invited to register for Auditions on Saturday, June 29th!

  • Mini/Jr Ages 6-11 Audition 10 AM - 12 PM

  • Int/Teen/Sr Ages 12-17 Audition 12:00 - 2:00 PM

Families will be asked what team their dancer is interested in joining at to assess their desired level of commitment. Assessments will evaluate the dancer’s technique in ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Please have dancers come dressed in all black fitted dance attire with hair pulled back away from their face. More information will be available soon along with the Audition Registration link. Master Class Series

Hip Hop with Megan Deffenbaugh!

We are excited to welcome Megan Deffenbaugh to EDC! Megan is a dancer, choreographer and creative based out of LA. She enjoys finding a balance of groove and intricacy in her classes and brings a combination of the many styles she has studied into her interpretation of Hip Hop. Megan has danced in the commercial/film industry, choreographed award-winning pieces at studios, colleges and schools around California, and is currently teaching & assisting at HEAT Dance Convention. She has a degree in Global Studies from UCSB, where she was also Artistic Director of the Urban Dance Company. Her latest work as an assistant choreographer can be seen in the movie Gatlopp released in theaters June 2022. Classes are $30/dancer, click below to register!

The studio will be closed for a private event. The Saturday, January 13th Hip Hop 2 class has been rescheduled for this week only to Friday, January 12th at 4:30 PM with Ms. Aiko! Dancers may also come to any of the following Hip Hop Classes if they are unable to attend on Friday:

  • Wednesday 5-6 PM with Raphy

  • Wednesday 6-7 PM with Dre

  • Thursday 4-5 PM with Elliott

Dancers Ages 8+ (Intermediate-Advanced) Join us for a special Master Class with Bobby Amamizu. Bobby is a professional dancer, educator, and choreographer who has worked in all varieties of entertainment such as stage, industrials, company, film, commercials, and television.

Nutcracker Auditions (Open to Public)

Auditions for “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet” will be held at EDC on Sunday, September 10th. from 10am-2pm.

Use the below link to Register. There is a $50 audition fee. Scroll down the list of audition locations to select Elevate Dance Company in Stockton.

Dancers of all levels ages 6-17 are welcome to audition! Dancers should wear ballet attire (girls have hair in a neat bun) and bring water.

The Nutcracker performance will be on November 10th, @ 7 pm at The Bob Hope Theatre. If dancers are cast in the production, the participation fee is $100.

Musical Theater with James Reed

Join us for a special Master Class on Saturday, August 19th from 1-3 pm. This master class will be Musical Theater style taught by Guest Artist James Reed, Stockton Civic Theater's Director and Choreographer. James will be teaching his choreography for SCT's upcoming show Beauty and the Beast. Ages 6 and up are welcome to register. Come and learn this whimsical and classic dance and get a jump start if you are interested in auditioning for the SCT show (Sept. 3rd & 4th)! Must register to attend.

SEASON BEGINS: First Day of Classes!

Welcome back to Elevate for our 2023-2024 Season!

*August is an OPEN month! Dancers enrolled in at least one dance class may take advantage of this special month. Each dancer will have the opportunity to drop in and try as many different classes as they’d like within their age range from August 14th-31st!

*Take note that August is full tuition. Due to August being an open month, there will be no prorating of tuition for this month.

Ages 4-7 Mini/Jr:

  • Musical Theater

Ages 8-17 Beginning/Intermediate:

  • Contemporary

  • Jazz Funk

  • Hip Hop

This is a half-day “dance camp” full of activities, training and fun running for 1 week, Monday-Friday. This week-long intensive has 3 genres of dance. Our instructors will help your dancer learn the importance of rhythm & technique and dancers will be learning a routine that they will perform for their families on Friday evening, after their classes that day.

$225 per dancer

Monday, July 24 -Friday, July 28, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
